Reconnective Healing Practitioner gave a talk on traditional Chinese medicine to our Lunch and Social Club last Wednesday

A Little Flavour of the Orient

Elsa Lee, Reconnective Healing Practitioner gave a talk on traditional Chinese medicine to our lunch and social club last Wednesday. Members were very interested to hear about this ancient and grounded system of medicine  -  how  the  body’s vital energy (Chi) circulates through channels called meridians that have branches connected to bodily organs and functions.  Elsa demonstrated in a very creative way the theory of the five elements which presumes that all experiences of the universe and nature can be linked to five elemental qualities represented by wood, fire, earth, metal and water.  Our pictures show members enjoying the demonstration by Elsa.
