St. Patrick's Celebration proves a very 'green' celebration!!

The annual Croí na Gaillimhe 'St. Patrick's Celebration' was held on Wednesday 16th March at 2pm and was a resounding success. The celebration included participants from our popular social club and other classes and clubs. It was a wonderful opportunity for people from the various clubs to meet and as it turns out that quite a few are friends from many years ago!!

No party is complete without some celebratory food and thanks to the wonderful skills of the staff at Griffins Bakery; we had a fine selection of delicious cakes and pastries.

Decked in various shades of green, all the participants and volunteers joined in the festivities. Our musicians John and Bill provided a variety of music with plenty of Irish influences!

We also had a raffle with some great prizes including delicious chocolates. Well done to Anne, James and Josephine. We hope that you all enjoy your prizes.

There is a small selection of photos available on our photo page, so have a look, because you never know who you might see!
Of course, wherever there is music, there is always plenty of dancing and the party goers certainly did not miss out on the opportunity to show off their dancing skills!
